Intensive Diabetes Management (IMD) is a fairly new way to help people with diabetes learn how to improve the control of their blood sugar levels. IDM requires you to test and record your blood sugars at least 4 times a day.

IDM also requires 3 or 4 insulin injections a day, or the use of an insulin pump.

Your doctor and Diabetes team will help you learn how to regulate all aspects of your diabetes management to receive ultimate control.
