I have Diabetes myself and I know what it is like to live with it everyday.I wanted to
see an internet site that was one massive diabetes information site. A place where you could
come to find basically anything and everything that thereis to know about diabetes. Everything
includes the basics of diabetes to the latest research developments.To tell you a
little more about myself, I am 20 years old and have had diabetes for the past 5 years. I live
in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Since I live in Canada this site is geared more towards Diabetes
in Canada and to the metric system for managing diabetes. If you manage your diabetes using
the imperial system you can still find the information here useful. To convert the metric
blood sugar to the
imperial way just multiply the blood sugar by 18.1. For food choices the Canadian CHO
(Carbs) go as follows:Starch 15g of CHOFruit / Veggie 10g of CHOMilk 6g
